A Conceptual Facial Cleaning Brush For Man
Men hated skin care and didn't want to do it, but the culture is different now in Asia due to globalization. Men are still far from rivaling women—the women's skin-care market is valued at more than 30 times the men's at $107.6 billion. But men's skin-care products are growing at a much faster pace, 9.4% compared with 4.8% for women's skin care.

Have you heard of facial cleansing brush?
Do you take extra care to your skin?
Do you consider yourself having a good skin condition?
Results of a online survey conducted on over 100 man in their 20s in a univeristy at Beijing
So I decided to address the issue and do some good for man!
And Facial cleansing brush came to my mind, while tens of product online are for women, less than than 10* brush mentioned use for man.

How should a man facial brush look like?
What are the different need for man compared to women product?
With these questions, I started with test using a traditional women brush and see if any problem occurs.
Moisturize brush and face
get cleanser and brush for bubbles
brush face for 1-3 min
Wash Face
Flush the brush
Problem 1:
Feeling uncomfortable when brushing from certain angle, Feel the need of ergonomic study
Ergonomic Exploration with similar products functioning with head & hand
Hair Drier
Need to keep a distance in case of getting too hot. User need to lower head. vent is perpendicular to the handle and some driers have smaller angles
Shaver
The angle between shaver head and handle is over 90 degrees and some even near as 180° to better make contact with jaw area where facial hair grows often
Tested Facial Brush
Brush is perpendicular to handle, suitable for cleaning front face, but hard to reach down below jaw area.
Men Facial Brush?
Considering jaw area, the angle between brush and handle need to be shaver-like, better be more than 90 degree. In addition, the distance between brush head and grasp position can be longer as man has longer arm thus needs larger area of movement.
Problem 2:

Subsequent iterations focus on finding balance between a manly look and friendly user features
Final shape followed the ergonomic outcome found previously.
And maintained a clean feel of a cleansing product.
Final Design
Gel dispensing Concept:
The brush embeds an gel tank which contains facial cleaning lotion that can be pumped out onto the sponge.
Open up the back cover, user will have access to gel tanks and perform refill.
Conceptual exploded view
Draining and charging dock
Wireless charging coil behind soft rubber pad.
The dock keeps the sponge moisturized when not used.

Like your shaver, or electric toothbrush, your facial brush will be another cool stuff on your bathroom counter.
